e-con Systems has launched NetraVis, a 1MP active stereo 3D depth camera designed for high-accuracy indoor robotic perception, expanding its portfolio of 3D vision solutions. The new Active Stereo camera is being launched at VISION 2026, held October 6-8 at Messe Stuttgart, Germany.
NetraVis is powered by our proprietary depth-processing algorithm, developed to deliver high-accuracy depth with excellent frame-to-frame consistency across reflective and non-reflective surfaces. With depth deviation as low as ≤0.5% at 1 meter and a sensing range of up to 6 meters, NetraVis is suited for applications such as AMRs, ASRS, and humanoid robots.

NetraVis also features enhanced texture reconstruction, producing dense point clouds with more spatial detail for 3D perception and scene understanding. A global-shutter RGB sensor and integrated 6-axis IMU provide additional visual and inertial data alongside depth information.
An onboard NPU supports AI workloads such as real-time object detection and segmentation at the camera, reducing the need for host-side AI processing. The camera connects through USB 3.0 and supports Linux, C++ and Python APIs, OpenCV, and ROS 2 for integration with robotic platforms. A GMSL2 variant is also planned for embedded vision platforms, including NVIDIA Jetson.
